These terms cover CourseCode Framework, the coursecode npm package and CLI, its MCP server, and the
CourseCode plugin for Claude Code and Codex. They are published by Lakeside Labs LLC.
License
The software is open source under the MIT License. The license governs your use, copying, modification, and distribution of the code. Nothing on this page limits the rights the license gives you.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as stated in the MIT License. Test courses in your own LMS before delivering them to learners. CourseCode does not certify that a course meets legal, regulatory, accessibility, or accreditation requirements.
Your content and accounts
Courses you build are yours. The framework and plugin run on your computer and do not give us access to your files. You are responsible for the content you create and for having the rights to the source material you use.
CourseCode works with services you choose and configure yourself: your AI tool, text-to-speech providers, and your LMS. Their own terms apply to your use of them.
CourseCode Cloud
CourseCode Cloud is an optional, separate hosted service with its own terms and privacy policy. You do not need it to author, preview, or export courses.
